RM Orbit terms of use

Effective 21 August 2026.

1. Agreement#

These terms are between you and Rang & Mall Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, India, for the RM Orbit applications listed on the legal index. If your organisation has a signed agreement with us, that agreement governs and these terms fill any gaps. Using an app means you accept these terms.

2. Accounts#

Keep your credentials secret, enable multi-factor authentication, and tell us at once if you suspect misuse. Administrators of an organisation's workspace are responsible for the users they add and the data they share.

3. Your content#

You own what you put into Orbit apps. You give us only the rights needed to store, process, transmit, and display it to run the service for you. We claim nothing else.

4. Acceptable use#

Do not use Orbit apps to send spam or unsolicited bulk mail; to store or share unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes others' rights; to record people without the consent the law requires; to attempt access to data that is not yours; or to disrupt the service. We may suspend access to protect the service or others, with notice where practicable.

5. Electronic signatures#

RM Sign produces electronic signatures. Their legal effect depends on where you are and what you are signing. In India, only Aadhaar eSign or a licensed digital signature certificate carries the statutory presumption; a drawn or typed signature is evidence of agreement without that presumption, and some documents cannot be signed electronically at all (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, most negotiable instruments, property sale deeds). In the US, UK, and EU, simple electronic signatures are generally valid for ordinary contracts. RM Sign states the signature level on every completed document.

6. Email#

RM Mail is for your legitimate correspondence. Bulk or marketing mail sent through it must comply with the anti-spam law of every recipient's country, carry an unsubscribe that works, and identify the sender. We may rate-limit or block sending that harms deliverability for everyone.

7. Meetings#

Hosts are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires before recording or transcribing. Recordings belong to the host's workspace.

8. Invoices and payments#

RM Bills issues invoices on behalf of the organisation that configures it. Any tax shown is that organisation's responsibility to get right; RM Bills applies the rules it is configured with. Rang & Mall does not hold or route funds on anyone's behalf.

9. Third parties#

Cloudflare, Resend, Google (when you connect Google Calendar), and other providers listed on the sub-processors page are outside our control. Their outages are not ours to fix, though we will tell you what we know.

10. Availability, backups, and export#

We aim for continuous availability and keep backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. You can export your data at any time by asking. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

11. Fees#

Orbit apps are provided to Rang & Mall's own team and to client organisations under written agreements. Where a fee applies it is invoiced under that agreement, with GST for Indian customers and as a zero-rated export otherwise. Refunds follow the agreement.

12. Disclaimers and liability#

Apps are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 5,000 Indian rupees if none. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.

13. Ending#

You may stop using the apps and ask for deletion at any time. We may close accounts that breach these terms. Sections 3, 12, and 14 survive.

14. Governing law#

The laws of India, with the courts at Visakhapatnam having jurisdiction, except that consumers keep the protection and the courts of their own country of residence. Email us and allow 30 days to resolve a dispute before starting proceedings.

15. Changes and contact#
