# How RM Orbit uses AI

Effective 21 August 2026.

- **Where it runs.** AI features in Orbit apps run on models hosted on our own servers in India (Ollama). Your content does not leave our infrastructure for AI processing. Products outside the suite that use cloud providers say so on their own pages.
- **What it does.** Mail: triage labels and summaries. Meet: live captions and meeting notes when a host turns them on. Drive: file tags, summaries, and search. Atlas, Writer, Planet, Nest: summaries, drafts, and suggested actions.
- **What it does not do.** It does not make decisions about you without a person. It does not train on your content. It does not infer emotions or protected characteristics. It does not send anything on your behalf without your approval.
- **Labelling.** AI-generated text is labelled where it appears. Captions and notes are marked as automatically generated and can be wrong; check before relying on them.
- **Control.** Workspace administrators can disable AI features per app. Mailbox owners can disable triage per mailbox.
- **Your rights over AI outputs.** Summaries, tags, and scores about you are personal data: you can export, correct, or delete them like anything else.
